The OSLO international team intends to remain on the cutting edge of modern management and production techniques while continuing to listen to and thus better serve its clientele.

OSLO has understood for decades that the term, “hand crafted” is the most overused, meaningless, even deceptive, term used in the high performance fenestration advertising business. To achieve precision quality wood windows and doors we must be capable of micro tolerance fits in our joinery, making each new unit in the line with equal exacting accuracy. Computer operated state-of-the-art machining technology is the most efficient, cost effective, and ecological method of manufacture therefore is in everyone’s interest.

So we leave the pride of hand-crafting to the cottage industry, the cobbler, the carver, potters, weavers… all deserving of respect in their own industry where each piece is treasured for it’s unique differences.
