Document Scanning Software
The optional Scan Station Module provides the ability to perform OCR zone document scanning; batch document scanning with customizable separator coversheets; electronic annotation of scanned images with filename, description, profile properties and date and time; and document scanning with text-searchable PDF. The Scan Station provides the capability to scan and import bitmap, GIF, JPEG, TIFF and TIFF(OCR) file types.

  • Optical character recognition (OCR) creates full-text index for documents as they are scanned, allowing documents to be instantly searched and retrieved based on words or phrases within the document’s content.
  • OCR zone capture, coversheet scanning, and automatic folder creation allows you to correctly process and store documents in real time as they are scanned.
  • Metadata can be automatically captured from scanned documents and used to build profiles (indexes) as information is saved in the document management repository.
  • Perform document scanning on thousands of documents in a batch, and capture all the scanned documents in a searchable, organized repository. Or, scan documents one at a time using simple workstation scanners.
  • Document scanning software integrates with any TWAIN-compliant scanner or networked digital Multifunction Printer (MFP).
