Stamped Concrete

Stamped Concrete is the process of adding texture and color to concrete to make it resemble natural stone, brick , slate, and other natural products found in nature including wood, fossils, shells and many more. This limitless array of possibilities combined with great durability and lower cost than natural products makes Stamped Concrete an easy choice for new construction and renovation projects.

The installation consists of pressing rubber molds into the concrete while the concrete is still in it's plastic state. Color is achieved by using Dry Shakes or Color Hardeners, Release Powders, Integral Colors and Acid Stain. All these products may be combined to create even more intricate designs.

HardBright Color Hardener: Decosup's Color Hardener is a surface hardening dry shake blend of high color retention mineral pigments, portland cement, silica, quartz aggregates and surface conditioners, it provides excellent wear resistance, light reflection and long lasting non fading color. It is recommended for use in many concrete applications where a durable hard surface is desired such as colored flat work, stamped concrete or a colored base for acid staining. Our excellent grade may be used in areas subject to high vehicular and pedestrian traffic, theme parks, streets, driveways, patios and sidewalks.

HardBright Color Hardener offers contractors clear advantages over other dry shakes in the market, our formula includes surface conditioners that makes the application much easier, greatly reduce caking, surface shrinkage and spider cracks as well as extended working time even in hot weather, in addition to all this, HardBright color Hardener covers far more per pail than most anyone out there, while most companies say their Color Hardener yields about 100 square feet per pail, our product easily cover 150 square feet per pail and even more. Use HardBright Color Hardeners not only to do a better job but also save!

Integral Colors: Decosup proudly offers Solomon Color Color-Flow liquid Integral Colors. Liquid integral colors offer many advantages over powder pigments, It's much cleaner, more efficient coloring, no waste, easier to mix and measure onsite and most important; better color consistency from batch to batch.

Release Powder: Decosup's Release Powder adds color variations and highlights to the textured surface, providing an attractive two-color antiqued look that very closely resembles natural materials such as cobblestone, brick, tile and slate.

Liquid Release: Decosup's Liquid Release is used to provide a bond breaker between the concrete or overlay and the stamping mats. Our liquid release is very affective, dust freee and it is ideal in situations where dust could be problematic. The liquid release also aids in the finishing part by allowinga clean view of the texture and te ability to correct mistakes immediately, it laso acts as a surface retarder on hot weather pours.
